It is so ironically tragic that you disavow American history in favor of your own individualism. I don’t have to know you to understand the history of America, and if you claim American citizenship, you don’t get to cherry pick and bleach history because it is uncomfortable for your individual sensibilities. Own it. It is as American as apple pie, chains and nooses.
